Breeder : Dorieux (Fr) 1995
Culture : A rare purple color for climber and a taking scent of violets. He adorned the entire season of large double flowers (12 cm) and climbs up to 2.5 tall. When he is contained he is never invasive. Since Violette Parfumée is neither large nor very thorny, he is convenient to cover arches and arcades. His large flowers bloom very honorably in wet weather and he is resistant to disease for a rosebush of this type.
Uses : Walls, fences, arches.
Association : Here in our garden, he is associated with the soft pink colors of Petit Bonheur and the contrast of flowers and colors is very successful. You can also link to Pierre de Ronsard (Eden Rose) and Pierre Bonnard for a range of very original tone.
Diseases : He is very resistant to disease and requires little care to thrive. It may even suit gardeners who have decided to do without treatment. For our part we are dealing with preventive Homéocult.
