Culture : He is part of the famous series of Flower Carpet from Werner Noack. This is a different usage because he is more elevated than his colleagues. He is also a little higher (80 cm) and therefore most appropriate for massive ground cover. Culture very easy, he forms bouquets of small original single pink coral flowers showing beautiful yellow stamens.
Uses : Ideal for small gardens or massive front or in borders. His erected form makes it less attractive for pot culture.
Association : Alafabia brings great joy and freshness to the garden. At the foot plant white or blue perennial geraniums (Rosanne) and plant Opalia at his side for a charming scenery. Blossom always without other interventions than the removal of faded flowers.
Diseases : Highly resistant to frost and disease. Treat preventively with a spray of bouillie bordelaise in the late winter and use Homeocult in the spring.
